WaY Chartered Architects began general practice in Sabah Malaysia 1970 and received published acclaim for architecture in international style houses, bijou classic hotels and in the development field of urban environmental design and planning. Since its early beginnings, the practice has positioned itself away from “architecture just as building artefacts” serving singularly eclectic persuasions (thus a veritable accident in the making); towards emphasising the practice of Architecture as philosophy in a concise modern vernacular language of environmental science and design articulating a community’s simple narrative of a visionary perspective “towards better new beginnings”.
